From the owners of some of Perth's favourite venues, The Old Synagogue and The Beaufort will come a sophisticated new bar and restaurant built into the Heritage Police Station at Finbar's luxury South Perth development, Civic Heart.

Nokturnl co-founder Ross Drennan said he and business partner Drew Flanagan plan to spend $6m to create a sophisticated beer and wine bar with a large alfresco area on a 400sqm block.
The police station, which will retain its two holding cells, will house a bar with some seating.
The basement level, which will be built next to the heritage building, rather than directly beneath it, will house the kitchen, a restaurant and toilets.
“We’re excited, as South Perth residents ourselves, to have an opportunity to create a hidden restaurant underground that promises a dining experience unlike any other in Perth."
The as-yet-unnamed venue will be one of 25 ground-floor food and beverage and retail tenancies in Civic Heart’s vibrant commercial precinct.
Finbar managing director Darren Pateman said Civic Heart would transform the Mends Street precinct through both its luxury apartments and the amenity it provides for local residents.
Both Civic Heart, and Nokturnl’s venue, are due for completion at the end of 2023.

It's exciting to see Nokturnl winning the bid to transform the old police station into a trendy bar and restaurant. A great location like that will surely attract a lot of attention, and creating a welcoming environment for customers is key. In a busy setting like this, having the right tools for staff is essential. A server book can really help waitstaff stay organized and manage orders efficiently. If you're looking for a stylish yet functional way to stay on top of everything, I highly recommend checking out the server books available at Kyiv Workshop. They’re perfect for any busy restaurant!
